The camp saw significant participation from local drivers, who appreciated the efforts of the Traffic Police in prioritizing their well-being. DySP Mohd Aslam stated, “This eye examination camp is part of our commitment to ensuring safer roads for everyone. A driver’s clear vision is essential for road safety,” a statement issued to INS reads.

Following the camp, a special drive was conducted to enforce traffic rules. During the drive, strict action was taken against violators. Addressing the issue of traffic violations, DySP Mohd Aslam emphasized, “Anyone found violating traffic rules will be punished according to the law. We are committed to enforcing regulations to maintain discipline on the roads.”

He also issued a stern warning to parents, urging them not to allow minors to drive. “If any minor is caught driving, both the minor and their parents will face legal action. Parents must take responsibility and ensure their children adhere to the rules,” he added.

The dual initiative of conducting the eye camp and enforcing traffic rules was widely praised by the community, reflecting the proactive approach of the Traffic Police in Kulgam.
