Resolution seeking special to J&K passed in Assembly

Srinagar, Nov 06: Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather on Wednesday passed the resolution moved by the Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary, seeking the restoration of special status to Jammu and Kashmir.

As per the INS, the resolution was opposed by the Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs, who staged a massive protest on the house, raising slogans against the Omar Abdullah-led government in Jammu and Kashmir.
