Jammu, Sep 29: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu range Anand Jain Sunday said that Head Constable was killed while two policemen were injured whose condition is stable. He said a massive search operation was on in Kathua forests to track down the terrorists.

Talking to reporters in Jammu, ADGP Kumar, as per KNO said that a joint operation was launched yesterday in Khog area of Bilawar in Kathua district. “In the exchange of fire, a Head Constable Bashir Ahmed was killed while as ASI and a DySP were injured who are stable now,” he said.

He said the massive search operation is on to track down the terrorists. He said there are inputs about three to four terrorists are hiding in the area. He said inputs have revealed that they are foreign terrorists.

He said police and other forces will ensure smooth elections for the third phase slated for October 1.
