Fahar Baba conferred with Int’l Peace Award by IHRO

Srinagar, Sep 28: Fahar Manzoor Baba, Youth Ambassador-IYS and President of International Human Rights Commission for Jammu and Kashmir was awarded the International Peace Award 2024 by International Human Rights Organization in cooperation with United Nations and affiliated with International Bar Association.

The event was presided over by Dr Nem Singh Pemi, Dr Mohammad Barhoumi.

Fahar Manzoor Baba is the resident of Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir, who was recognized for his contributions to promoting peace and global harmony.

In his speech, Fahar Manzoor highlighted the urgent need for peace in today’s world.

He said, “In these challenging times, the need for peace is more critical than ever. India has always been at the forefront of promoting peace and harmony, both within the nation and globally. It is our collective responsibility to continue this legacy and work towards a more peaceful world. This recognition highlights his unwavering commitment to fostering peace and harmony, transcending both community and religious spheres to promote coexistence and diversity within the region and worldwide.”
