Srinagar, Sep 20: Thousands of devotees converged at the Dargah Hazratbal shrine to participate in the special prayers on Friday following Milad-un-Nabi (SAW).

Thr Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) was celebrated with religious zeal and zest on Tuesday.

As per thr INS, the biggest congregation was held at Dargah Hazratbal where the people from different parts of the Valley thronged since the last evening to participate in the night-long prayers and Friday congregational prayers today.

The devotees were seen raising their hands and praying for their wellbeing amid tears in their eyes.

Meanwhile, the administration had made special arrangements for the devotees today while the traffic diversion was also issued for the smooth passage to the people.
