Srinagar, Sep 20: A fire broke out near the Kanitar area of Lal Bazar, Srinagar, on Friday late afternoon, involving a mosque, officials said.

An official told KNO that a mosque was involved in the fire incident that occurred near the Kanitar area of Lal Bazar, Srinagar, on Friday.

He said the fire is ongoing in the area, and the Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) are on their way. According to initial reports, the mosque is involved in the blaze.

Meanwhile, the fire continues in the area, and more details are awaited as the report was being filed.
