Teetwal, Sep 11: Sharda Divas celebrations were held on Wednesday at Sharda temple LoC Teetwal Kashmir.

Nearly 200 yatris from J&K and abroad took part in the celebration.

After recitation of sharda namawali at temple the yatra was led by Ravinder Pandita Head of save sharda Committee Kashmir Regd to Swami Nand lal ghat, where pilgrims took a holy dip in kishenganga and performed ganga aarti.

On this occasion, a devotional song dedicated to sharda Mata by Athrot was released live from LoC Teetwal by Ravinder Pandita of save sharda Committee.

The symbolic charri Mubarak yatra from temple to ghat again signified Cross LoC heritage & religious tourism.

Speaking on the event, Ravinder Pandita urged the government to reopen sharda pilgrimage which has not taken place since partition.
