Kulgam, Aug 09: An improvised explosive device (IED) that was found on a road in Balsoo area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday morning has been defused, officials said.

An official told KNO that the IED, fitted in a pressure cooker, was detected by security forces today morning.

He said that bomb disposal squad was called in and the explosive device was subsequently defused.
