Jammu, Aug 05: Sikh Naujwan Sewadar Sabha Gurudwara Kalgidhar BC Road Rehari Chungi Jammu along with Gurudwara Prabhandak Committee Kalgidhar BC Road Rehari Chungi Jammu celebrated Parkash Purabh of 8th Guru, Guru Harkrishan Mahraj Ji at Gurudwara Kalgidhar BC Road Rehari Jammu.

Ragi Jatha and Parcharak and Dhadi Jatha from Shri Darbar Sahib Amritsar and local Jatha of Jammu participated in the programme.

Besides, a large number of devotees from all the parts of Jammu participated in the Parkash Purabh.

The Parcharak and Ragi Jatha threw the light on life of 8th Guru Mahraj ji.

Guru Harkrishan Mahraj ji that was the eighth Guru of the Sikhs. He is also known as the Bal Guru (Child Guru). He was the youngest of all Gurus having attained that status at the tender age of five. His span of guru ship was also the shortest.

Guru Harkrishan Mahraj ji is indeed an example that spirituality as an experience is independent of age. His personality can be summarized in the words of Guru Gobind Singh who later wrote that he is one “whose sight dispels all discomforts” (Jis Dithe Sab Dukh Jaye ).

This event was held under the patronage of Mahant Manjit Singh Ji Digiana Ashram, in which S. Ranjit Singh Ji Tohra President D G PC Jammu, S.Karan Singh Bali Member DGPC Jammu,S. Ranbir Singh Ji Joint Secretary Jammu, S. Avtar Singh Ji Member DGPC Jammu, S.Jagpal Singh Ji Cashier DGPC Jammu,S. Gurmeet Singh Ji Member DGPC Jammu, S.Harjinder Singh Raina Chairman Panthak Ekta Morcha, S.Surinder Singh Kala President Narwal Mandi Jammu etc. personalities were present.
