TASK holds meeting to discuss proposed draft J&K Tourist Trade Rules, 2024

Srinagar, Aug 01: A joint meeting of major Travel Trade Associations was held with regard to proposed draft Jammu & Kashmir Tourist Trade Rules, 2024, under the umbrella of Travel Agents Society of Kashmir (TASK) on Thursday at Hotel Asian Park, M. A. Link road, Srinagar.

The head of associations including Mohammad Ibrahim Siah – President (Travel Agents Society of Kashmir), Noor Mohammad Shangloo – Chairman (Jammu & Kashmir Tourism Alliance) Showkat Ahmad Pakhtoon – Chairman (J&K Pilgrim & Leisure Tour Operators Federation) Nasir Mir – Chairman (Association of Kashmir Tour Operators), Nasir Shah – Chairman (Indian Association of Tour Operators – J&K Chapter), Mir Anwar – Chairman (Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India – J&K Chapter), Ather Yameen – Chairman (Travel Agents Association of India – J&K Chapter), Shamim Shah – Chairman (Travel Agents Federation of India – J&K Chapter) and Waseem Ahmad Gossani – Honorary Secretary General (Travel Agents Society of Kashmir) were present.

The meeting was organised by Travel Agents Society of Kashmir to discuss the proposed Draft Jammu & Kashmir Tourist Trade Rules, 2024 and to finalise the white paper with suggestions and objections on behalf of the association’s mentioned above and to be submitted to Tourism Department – J&K Government.

Chairman of the meeting made note of all the suggestions. objections & recommendations by all Head of Associations and same will be submitted accordingly.
