Srinagar, Jul 30: A bike rider lost his life in a road accident in the Sopore area of North Kashmir Baramulla district on Tuesday.

An official told Kashmir Scroll that an accident took place at Nowpora Sopore in which one bike rider received critical injuries.

He said that the bike rider identified as Manzoor Ahmad Lone (34) son of Ghulam Nabi Lone resident of Gonbugh Pattan Baramulla was shifted to SDH Sopore from where he was referred to SKIMS Soura for treatment where doctor declares him brought dead.

Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started investigation.
