Srinagar, Jul 04: A policeman was killed in a road accident in Soura area of Srinagar on Thursday morning.

An official told KNO that a scooty bearing registration number JK16B-7611 collided with a truck at 90ft road, resulting in on spot death of the scooty rider.

The deceased was identified as Muhammad Amin Bhat son of Mohammad Yousuf Bhat of Repora Lar Ganderbal.

He was working as selection grade constable in J&K Police.
