Chandigarh, Apr 24: A delegation of Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh led by Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group & President, Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA) met renowned Philanthropist Bob Dhillon in Calgary, Canada.

Piyush Girdhar, Advisor, International Affairs, Aryans Group was also present, a statement issued to the INS reads.

Bob Dhillon hosted Aryans delegation at his home & discussed his vision to uplift the education sector & to help the downtrodden segment of society. Kerry B Godfrey, Dean Dhillon School of Business, University of Lethbridge, Calgary was also present.

Dr. Anshu Kataria also discussed about the impact of partial ban on international admissions. He praised Bob Dhillon who is doing excellent job in education sector by various philanthropic activities.

Piyush Girdhar while appreciating Bob Dhillon said that Dhillon has made around 17000 properties with his vision in Canada and not only the Punjabis of entire world but all residents of Alberta feel proud on him.

It is worth mentioning that Bob Dhillon has donated around Rs 50 Crores to support Dhillon School of Business. Kataria mentioned that this is his high act of kindness. Also pertinent to mention that Dhillon has also bought the legendary Sikh sword of Maharaja Ranjit Singh and made every Punjabi proud.

It is to be mentioned that Mr. Dhillon is the founder, president & CEO of Mainstreet Equity Corp., a Calgary-based publicly traded company. He is also the founder, owner, and president of Pan Pacific Mercantile Group, an international trading and export company focused on real estate development in emerging markets such as Belize and India. He is also the founder and co-owner of National Payments, a point-of-sale payment solutions organization for small business merchants. Bob holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. He is the Honorary Consul General for Belize in Canada. He has been awarded recipient of order of Canada & Queen Elizabeth jubilee & platinum award recently.
