Sonamarg experiences fresh snowfall, rains lash plains

Srinagar, Mar 29: Sonamarg has experienced fresh snowfall while the rains lashed plains of Kashmir on Friday.

According to the INS, Sonamarg has received light snowfall today as another Western Disturbance has affected Jammu and Kashmir.

Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, has received moderate rainfall, bringing down the mercury across the Valley.

The weatherman has however, predicted more rains and snow till tomorrow and stated that the weather conditions would improve from March 31.

Director Meteorological department, Mukhtar Ahmad said that the weather would remain generally dry from April 01 till April 04.
