Srinagar, Mar 10: Jammu and Kashmir would likely experience fresh rains and snowfall as the private weather forecaster has predicted two back to back Western Disturbances from tomorrow.

“Two Western Disturbances in quick succession are going to affect Jammu and Kashmir over the next 5 days,” a private weatherforecaster, Faizan Keng said.

On March 11, generally light rain and snow is possible in some areas while on March 12
Nothing significant is expected. However, he said that light rain and snow can occur in a few areas.

On March 13 & 14, light to moderate rain and snow is expected in most areas of Jammu and Kashmir.

“Heavy snowfall can also occur in a few higher reaches. Significant dip is very likely in day temperatures,” he said.
