Will act tough against overloading in vehicles to reduce road accidents: RTO

Srinagar, Mar 01: The Regional Transport Officer (RTO) Kashmir, Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari on Friday that the overloading will be put an end, which will simultaneously help in reducing the road accidents.

While talking to INS, RTO, Kashmir said that the overloading is among the major reasons behind road accidents. “I have empowered my employees and other concerned departments to act over the violation,” he said.

He added that the overloading in passenger vehicles will not be tolerated at all as they are putting efforts to reduce the number of accidents.

“The people should play their role in this regard, so that the motive to save the precious lives is acheived,” he said.
