Handwara, Feb 24: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday attached properties of four accused persons in a narco-terror funding case in Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, officials said.

Official sources told KNO that the properties were attached in connection with an investigation of a case RC-03/2020/NIA/JMU related to the narco-terrorism.

The accuser who properties were attached include Muneer Ahmed Banday S/O Ghulam Rasool Banday, Afaq Ahmed Wani S/O Ghulam Rasool Wani, Abdul Moomin Peer S/O late Mohammed Asraf Peer and Saleem Andrabi S/O Syed Iftikhar Geelani of Laribal Rajiwar.

Officials said that the properties were identified under proceeds of terrorism and were attached with the prior permission from designated authority.
