Srinagar, Feb 19: Under the influence of fresh Western Disturbance, Jammu and Kashmir has continued to receive rains and snowfall for second straight day.

Gulmarg and other few areas also experienced fresh snowfall since yesterday.

Moreover, the Srinagar-Jammu highway has also been closed for the vehicular movement due to mudslide and landslide.

“Jammu-Srinagar highway blocked due to mudslide at Mehad, Ramban and landslide at Tabela Chamalwass, Banihal. People are advised to avoid journey on NH-44 till the weather improves and the road is clear. Please as TCU before starting the journey,” Traffic Police officials said.
