Countdown begins as Govt finalizes arrangements for Khelo India Winter Games Edition-4

Srinagar, Feb 16: The government has finalized all the artlrangements for the much-awaited Khelo India Winter Games Edition-4, slated to be held in Gulmarg from Fenruary 21.

Officials told the INS that all the arrangements have been made and the participants from different parts of the country are arriving the venue from Sunday.

The event was earlier scheduled to be held from Fenruary 2, but was deferred in wake of the prolonged dry spell.

Officials said that special arrangements have been made this year as well to ensure smooth and sucessful event.

From Srinagar International Airport to the main venue, special arrangements have been put in place for the participants, they said.

They further said that the entry and check-ins would mostly likely be separate for the participants.

The hotels have been booked and other arrangements too have been put in place at the venue, they added.

Pertinently, 400 athletes from different states and Union Territories will participate in the event.
