Smart City: Sgr set to get more e-buses in coming days

Srinagar, Feb 10: The Srinagar Smart City Limited (SSCL) is all set to increase the number of electric busses in the summer capital as the registration process has begun in Jammu district of the Union Territory.

An official privy to the development told INS that more four buses are set to reach Srinagar in coming days.

“We have almost finalized the registration process of these e-buses in Jammu and in coming days, the vehicles will reach Srinagar soon,” the official said.

Pertinently, the government has announced 75 e-buses for Srinagar while 75 have already been made operational.

These electric buses have brought huge relief to the passengers across the Srinagar and other adjacent areas.

The electric buses not only charge less fare but also are becoming the first choice for people because of its comfort.
