Srinagar, Feb 08: The death toll in Srinagar terror attack has rose to two as an injured Punjab resident succumbed to his injuries on Thursday morning, officials said.

An official told KNO that the Punjab resident who was shot and injured by terrorists on Wednesday evening succumbed to his injuries on Thursday morning at SKIMS, Soura. He identified the deceased as Rohit Mashi (27).

On Wednesday evening, two Punjab residents were shot at by terrorists in Shalkadal area of downtown. While one of them identified as Amritpal died on the spot in the attack, Mashi was critically injured and was referred to SKIMS Soura for treatment.
