Light snow expected in higher reaches during next 24 hours

Srinagar, Jan 16: The higher reaches of Kashmir are expected to experience light snowfall during the next 24 hours.

Independent Weather Forecaster, Faizan Keng stated that a weak Western Disturbance is affecting J&K and as a result of which light snowfall is expected at higher reaches during the next 24 hours.

However, he added that there is no forecast of any significant weather activity. He told INS that dry weather will continue to dominate.

Moreover, he stated that day temperatures will remain nearly 5°C above normal on most days.
