Srinagar, Dec 25: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Manoj Pande on Monday asked the commanders in Poonch to be steadfast against all the challenges.
The Army Chief visited Poonch this afternoon and was given an update on prevalent security situation in the district.
The COAS visited the district days after the four soldiers were killed in an ambush.
In a post on X, Indian Army spokesperson said, “General Manoj Pande #COAS visited #Poonch sector and was given an update on the prevalent security situation. #COAS interacted with commanders on ground, exhorted them to conduct the operations in the most professional manner and remain resolute & steadfast against all challenges.”
