No dearth of talent in J&K: Sgr’s Fiza shines at IMMMAF, bags gold medal

Srinagar, Dec 20: There is no dearth of talent in Jammu and Kashmir as the boys as well as the girls continue to showcase their skills and manage to secure the top ranks at different Championships across the globe.

Similarly, Fiza Nazir, hailing from Srinagar, an emerging martial arts athlete from Jammu and Kashmir also shines at Asian MMA championship 2023 (IMMMAF) as she bagged gold medal in senior women -56.7 kgs weight category, which was held in Bahrain from 5-16 December.

She is the first women from India to be a gold medalist at such big level.

Focused on her dream and dedication, Fiza has always been proving her mettle at bigger stages.

Training in Asia’s one of the biggest MMA school, Fiza is looking forward to represent India again in world championship, slated to be held later this year.

She pays her highest gratitude to her sponsors TCI cements, TGH and her family and coaches.

Apart from this, she has been 3 times international gold medalist and one time world champion in martial arts.

Moreover, she has been a star player at national level and won 12 national medals and four federation cups.
