As per the data, Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir recorded a minimum temperature of 0.5°C while the mercury settled at 0.8°C in Qazigund.

The improvement was recorded after several places across the Valley experienced fresh snowfall, leading to the closure of multiple roads including Mughal Road and Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri Road.

Moreover, the weatherman here has predicted dry and cold weather conditions till December 24, saying there is no forecast of any major weather activity during the period.
