8 JKAS officers transferred, IAS officer gets addl charge

Srinagar, Dec 11: Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday ordered the transfer and postings of eight JKAS officers in the interest of administration.

According to INS, Abdul Rashid War, JKAS, Labour Commissioner, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Kashmir, vice Reyaz Ahmad Sofi, JKAS, who shall await further orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department.

Rehana Batul, IAS (AGMUT:2010), Secretary to the Government, Labour and Employment Department, holding additional charge of Secretary to the Government, Public Grievances, has been asked to hold the charge of the post of Labour Commissioner, J&K, in addition to her own duties, till further orders.

Mohammad Ashraf, JKAS, Deputy Director (Administration) in the Directorate of Social Welfare, Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as Deputy District Election Officer, Srinagar.

Mohammad Rafeeq Bhat, JKAS, Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as Deputy District Election Officer, Bandipore.

Noor-ud-din Bhat, JKAS, Deputy District Election Officer, Bandipore, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir.

Shakeel Hussain, JKAS, Deputy District Election Officer, Srinagar, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director (Administration) in the Directorate of Social Welfare, Kashmir.

Om Parkash, JKAS, District Panchayat Officer, Reasi, has been transferred and posted as Deputy District Election Officer, Doda.

Harvinder Singh, JKAS, Private Secretary with Chairman, Advisory Board under J&K Public Safety Act, has been transferred and posted as Deputy District Election Officer, Samba, against an available vacancy.
