Srinagar, Dec 10: Three persons died after a soil-excavation machine (JCP) overturned and fell into a ditch at Mahore in Reasi district on Saturday evening.

An official said that a soil-excavation machine working in Sungri nallah in Chassana overturned and fell into a ditch, resulting in on-spot death of three persons.

The official identified the trio as Natish Kumar (23) of Kalakote Rajouri, Rajinder Kumar (27) of Patnitop Udhampur and Hushayair Singh of Balmakote Reasi.

Confirming it, SDM Mahore Sayed Mazhar Ali Shah told GNS that the trio died due to drowning.
