Srinagar, Dec 09: The persistent dry spell has brought the mercury further down across the Valley as most of the places including Srinagar has recorded the coldest night of season.
As per the INS, the officials in the Meteorological department (MeT) informed that Srinagar has recorded a low of -4.6°C.
Konibal station of Pulwama was the coldest at -5.4°C followed by Pahalgam at -5.0°C.
Gulmarg, a famous ski-resort has recorded a low of -4.2°C. Qazigund in South Kashmir has recorded a low of -2.8°C while Kupwara in north Kashmir recorded a minimum temperature of -3.0°C.
Pertinently, the isolated higher reaches are expected to experience light rains and snowfall from December 12-15.
