Srinagar, Nov 29: The government on Wednesday appointed Atal Dulloo as Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to an order, a copy of which lies with INS, the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has stated that consequent upon superannuation of Arun Kumar Mehta, IAS (AGMUT:1988) on 30.11.2023 ND on repatriation from central deputation, Atal Duloo, IAS (AGMUT: 1988) is hereby appointed as Chief Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir w.e.f 01.12.2023 or from date of assumption of charge, whichever is later and until further orders.
