Srinagar, Nov 21: Jammu & Kashmir Police under the aegis of Civic Action Programme distributed Wheel chairs among the specially-abled persons in Sopore on Tuesday.

The distribution ceremony was attended by SSP Sopore Shabir Nawab, DySP DAR Sopore Hilal Ahmad Hilal & other officers of Police District Sopore, a police spokesman said in a statement issued to INS.

On the occasion, SSP Sopore interacts with all the specially-abled persons and assured them that Jammu and Kashmir Police will always play its eminent role in providing every possible support to the needy people.

He also asked the beneficiaries not to allow the poverty and orphanage to fall prey off ignorance & illiteracy.

The participants requested SSP Sopore that such more events should be organized to have good interaction and relationship with common masses and police as well.
