Sopore, Nov 11: A motorcyclist was killed while two other people were injured in a road accident in north Kashmir’s Sopore town on Saturday.

As per reports, an accident took place on Saidpora bypass Sopore when a bike hit with an electric pole.

In the accident, the bike rider and two other pillion riders were seriously injured and were immediately taken to the sub-district hospital in Sopore, where one of them succumbed to his injuries.

A doctor at SDH Sopore also confirmed the accident and identified the deceased as Danish Ahmad & injured as Aqib Ahmad and Tawheed Ahmad, both residents of Janwara.

Meanwhile, police took cognizance of the accident.
