GVEI student bags 1st position in district level essay writing competition

Srinagar, Oct 31: Sheikh Fatima, a student of Green Valley Educational Institute (GVEI), achieved a remarkable feat by clinching the first position in the intra district-level essay writing competition centered on the theme of “Badalta Kashmir.”

The competition was held at Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Kothi Bagh on October 28 of 2023 while the felicitation of toppers was done during an event organised for the UT Foundation Day, which took place at SP Higher Secondary School in Srinagar on Tuesday.

Project Director Samagra Shiksha J&K Deep Raj was the Chief Guest at the occasion while the Director School Education Kashmir (DSEK) Tasaduq Hussain Mir was the Guest of honour at the function.

Chief Education Officer (CEO) Srinagar and Principal SP Higher Secondary School were also present at the occasion.

The celebration was not limited to the felicitation of Sheikh Fatima alone, it also featured a diverse array of entertaining programs presented by students.

During the function many entertaining programs including dogri dance, qawali, mushayra were presented by the students.

Felicitation of students who participated in painting, poetry and essay writing competition on Badalta Kashmir was also done during the function.

Toppers from all the other districts were felicitated as well.
