Vigilance Awareness Week commences in J&K

Srinagar, Oct 30: The Vigilance Awareness Week commenced on Monday and will culminate on November 05, 2023.

Sanjeev Verma Commissioner Secretary General Administration Department (GAD) said that the week is observed with an aim to eliminate corruption from Jammu and Kashmir.

Verma said that the week is dedicated to people, as the corruption can be controlled only when the common people are aware.

He added that J&K administration is committed to ensure corruption free Union Territory and as such more than 1100 online services have been launched for the people.

“I appeal to the people, especially youth to participate in these events,” he said.
