Srinagar, Oct 30: A pedestrian was killed after he was hit by an unknown vehicle in Bemina area of Srinagar district on Monday.

An official said that an unknown vehicle hit and run a pedestrain near JVC hospital Bemina.

The pedestrian has been identified as Nissar Ahmad Daraz son of Abdul Gaffar Daraz of Gulbagh Parimpora.

He said that the injured was shifted to JVC hospital Bemina where doctors declared him brought dead.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance and started investigation into the matter.
