Kupwara, Oct 29: The security forces on Sunday said to have foiled another infiltration bid along the line of control (LOC) in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Reports quoting an official said that in Jumagund sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, one militant has been killed.

He said the operation is still ongoing while the security forces have successfully foiled an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LOC).

He said just two days ago, five militants were killed in Machil sector along the LOC.

The continuous commitment and determination of our troops have resulted in significant gains in the fight against militancy, he said.

This is the second infiltration bid that has been foiled by the security forces in Kupwara in three days.
