NC—Cong sweeps Kargil polls, wins 22 seats

Srinagar, Oct 08: The National Conference and Congress have swept the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council- Kargil polls by winning 22 out of 26 seats.

As per result available with KNO, NC won 12 seats while its ally Congress emerged victorious on 10 seats.

BJP and independents emerged victorious on two seats each. This was the first election in Kargil after August 5, 2019.
