Handwara, Oct 07 A deputy sarpanch was arrested for using fake seal of sarpanch unauthorisedly in Kralgund area of Handwara on Saturday, police said.
A police spokesperson said that house of deputy sarpanch Rawalpora Hafiz-ullah Mir was raided by a police party of PS Kralgund, during which a fake seal of sarpanch was recovered.
He said that he later arrested in connection case under relevant sections of law has been registered.
The official added that further investigation has been taken up.
