Srinagar, Sep 29: Thousands of devotees from different parts of the valley on Friday converged at the Hazratbal Dargah shrine to participate in the Friday congregational prayers on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW).

A massive rush of devotees was witnessed at Hazratbal shrine today where the people participated in the special prayers.

Earlier in a day, the Muslims from different shrines and Masjids carried out the rallies to mark the occasion.

The children, elderly as well the religious clerics were seen carrying flags reading Quranic verses, during the rallies, reciting Naats.
