Srinagar, Sep 13: A delegation of All Joint Employees Association Kashmir (Minority) called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan in Srinagar on Saturday.

The delegation included Jagmeet Kour Bali President AJEAK, Vipen Kumar Chairman AJBRCEAK, representative of Non Migrant Employees Daleep Kumar, Sanju Kumar, Pandita, Premjit Singh and Yojovinder Singh.

The delegation put forth the genuine grievances of employees of minority community, including safety and security of all minority employees, treatment of absence period as on duty for all minority employees equally, issues of safe accommodation for minorities including Sikh /SC/ST/ Non PM package employees were also discussed.

The delegation also requested to create Grievances Cell for All Minority Employees at Raj Bhavan as well in District level to redress the issues of employees belonging to Minority.

It also took up the issue of notification of comprehensive transfer policy for Jammu based reserved category employees, working in Kashmir.

The employees’ delegation also requested the Lieutenant Governor to issue the post allocation in District Srinagar, for drawl of HRA, particularly the employees of education who are adjusted in the district on various grounds.

The Lt Governor gave patient hearing to the visiting delegation and assured them that their all genuine grievances shall be addressed on merit. The Lt Governor also issued on spot instructions to administration to take effective steps for these employees, in accordance with the issues discussed in the meeting.
