Gani shah triumphs Over Kashmir university in JKPL Season 2

Srinagar: In an exhilarating start to the day of the Akash Byju’s Jammu and Kashmir Premier League (JKPL),Gani Shah CC emerged victorious by defeating Team KU by 115 Runs.

Batting first, Gani shah scored highest score in JKPL season 2 249/4 in 20 overs. Deepak Punia scored fastest fifty in only 12 balls scored 72 runs in just 19 balls and Adil Zahoor scored 77 runs. The standout performance of the match came from Deepak Punia, who proved to be the be the Man of the match.

In reply Team KU only managed to score 134/9 runs. For KU was Asim Bashir scored 31 runs . For Gani shah Saju took 3 wickets , Sarul and Deepak Punia took 2 wickets each later Deepak Punia was declared man of the match for his all round performance.

* Elagant Strikers Emerges Victorious Against Owners 11 *

The excitement continued in the second match of the day at Akash Byju’s JKPL Season 2 as Elegant strikers secured a victory over Owners11 , winning by 77 runs . Elegant batting first, scored 224/3 . Qamar Ali scored 100 runs in just 41 balls. The standout performer was Qamar Ali who played brilliantly and scored 100 runs in 34 balls and also picked 1 wickets. For owners 11 Nasir, Mir Aqib picked 1 wickets each.Owners 11 in reply managed to score only 147/5 In allotted 20 overs and lost by 77 runs.
