Srinagar: In an exhilarating start to the second season of the Jammu and Kashmir Premier League (JKPL), Spartan Warriors Zakura emerged victorious by defeating Kashmir University by 6 wickets.

Batting first, Kashmir University faced a challenging task against Spartan Warriors Zakura’s bowling prowess. The Kashmir university team was bundled out for a total of 73 runs with varsity’s batters having little answer to the tenacity and skill of the Spartan Warriors’ bowlers. The standout performance of the match came from Sahil Jan, who proved to be the pick of the bowlers with an impressive haul of 4 wickets while conceding just 1 run.

In a display of remarkable teamwork and determination, Spartan Warriors Zakura chased down the target with 6 wickets to spare.

Valley Fresh Emerges Victorious Against Owners 11 in JKPL Season 2

The excitement continued in the second match of JKPL Season 2 as Valley Fresh secured a commanding victory over Owners 11, winning by 6 wickets.

Owners 11, batting first, set a competitive target of 131 runs. However, Valley Fresh demonstrated their mettle by effectively curtailing the opposition’s progress. Amir Tukroo, the standout performer of the match, not only excelled with the bat by scoring 42 runs but also made a significant impact with the ball by taking 2 crucial wickets.

Valley Fresh’s comprehensive victory serves as a strong testament to their skill and determination, setting the stage for an action-packed season ahead in the Jammu and Kashmir Premier League Season 2.
