Large congregational prayers marked Jumat-ul-Vida, the last Friday of the holy month of Ramazan, in Kashmir valley and Jammu.Congregational prayers were held most Masjids and shrines including Dargah Hazratbal, Masjid Jamiat-e-Ahlehadith, Gawkadal; Asar-e-Sharif, Janab Sahib, Soura; Asar-e-Sharif, Shehri Kalashpora; Ziarat Dastgeer Sahib, Khanyar, Ziarat Dastgeer Sahib, Sarai Bala; Ziarat-e-Makhdoom Sahib and Khanqah-e-Mualla.The managing body of the Jama Masjid here on Friday said that the authorities disallowed “Jummat-ul-vida” congregational prayers at the historic mosque.
