Police arrests 2 narco smugglers with over 11 Kgs heroin worth Rs 70 cr in Srinagar

Srinagar, April 6: Police on Thursday said that two cross-border narco smugglers were arrested by Srinagar Police with 11.089 Kgs of Heroin worth Rs 70 crore in international market.

ADGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said Rs 11,82,500 in cash was also seized from the duo namely Sajjad Badana and Zaheer Tanch of Karnah Kupwara. FIR under NDPS Act has been registered at Rajbagh police station, he said . “Drugs had come from Pakistan,” the ADGP Kashmir said.
