Heavy rains expected on July 29 and 30 in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar: India Meteorological Department has issued severe weather warning for 27 to 31 July, 2017.
27 July: Heavy to very heavy rainfall with extremely heavy falls very likely at isolated places over Madhya Pradesh; heavy to very heavy at isolated places over East Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat and heavy at isolated places over East Uttar Pradesh, Vidarbha, Jharkhand, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Madhya Maharashtra and Konkan & Goa.
Strong winds with speed 30¬40 kmph gusting to 50 kmph very likely over Madhya Pradesh, North Chhattisgarh and southern parts of Uttar Pradesh.
28 July: Heavy to very heavy rainfall with extremely heavy falls very likely at isolated places over East Rajasthan; heavy to very heavy at isolated places over West Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat region; heavy at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, West Rajasthan, East Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra & Kutch, Madhya Maharashtra and Konkan & Goa.
29 July: Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely at isolated places over Rajasthan; heavy rain at isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat region.
30 July: Heavy rain very likely at isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir,Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Assam & Meghalaya,Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura.
31 July: Heavy rain very likely at isolated places over Uttarakhand, West Uttar Uttar Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Assam & Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura. (CNS)
