CBK Files Chargesheet Against Accused For Posing As Engineer To Defraud Man In Jammu

Srinagar, Nov 10: The Economic Offence Wing of Crime Branch Kashmir (CBK) has produced chargesheet against an accused for fraudulently and dishonestly induced a person to pay “huge” amount for providing building permission and other formalities in Jammu.
The chargesheet was filed before Court of Passenger Tax Srinagar in the case (FIR No. 30/2020) under 420 of penal section against Rajinder Pandita alias Raju son of Omkar Nath Pandita who is at present residing in House No.86 Vijay Nagar Camp Road Talab Tiloo Jammu, CBK said in a statement.
“The instant case had been registered upon receipt of written complaint, wherein it was alleged that Rajinder Pandita deceived him dishonestly and fraudulently by inducing him to pay huge amount under the pretext of providing building Permission from Jammu Municipal Corporation for construction over his land at Jammu,” the CBK said.
Following investigation, the CBK said, it came to fore that Pandita by projected himself as Civil Engineer fraudulently and dishonestly induced the complainant to pay huge amount for providing building permission and carrying out other formalities.
