: Gurpurab, the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Devji, was Tuesday celebrated with religious fervor and gaiety across Kashmir Valley.
The main function was held at Gurdwara Chatti Padshahi at Rainawari here where hundreds of Sikhs across the valley attended the special prayers.
Special langars were organized for the devotees in Gurdwaras.
Similar celebrations were also held in other local Gurdwaras including Jawahar Nagar, Allochi Bagh, Barzulla in Srinagar, Tral Pulwama, Rangreth Budgam, Pattan and Baramulla in north Kashmir and others.
