Srinagar: The two day Grandparents day organised by the Pre-Primary Department of Green Valley Educational Institute has been a success drawing love and extreme happiness by the grandparents who were a major part of the event.
“On both days, the students of the department showcased different programs which included Rouf, Dandiya, Mime, Speeches, Qawali, Tarana and different songs,” school spokesperson said.
The grandparents also participated in different activities which included singing songs, reciting naats, mimicking and sharing of good memories.
The event not only provided a platform to the young buds but it also became a bridge between generations that are decades apart.
The Green Valley Educational Institute, said that they intend to build moral values among children through many such events.
