This is one of the oldest, largest and most active organizations. It has successfully completed ‘46’ years of its activities. In addition to the production of plays, music shows and workshops, the organization has been regularly conducting ‘Seminars’ / ‘Discussions’ on subjects related to performing arts in the Valley, ‘Book Releases’ and been holding ‘Interactions’ with the dignitaries and guest Artists from outside Kashmir.

The grand ventures of this organisation include conducting ‘Film Screenings’, ‘Theatre Festivals’ and last but not the least ‘Film Festivals’.

Although the current initiative ‘Kashmir World Film Festival’ (KWFF) is first of its kind in Kashmir and we are confident that this event will touch the skies of success. The force behind this initiative is the concept of providing a platform to all the Filmmakers of the Valley (whether professionals or amateurs) and bringing good quality films made at the National and International levels to the valley especially for the youth of Kashmir.

So far ACT has conducted 4 successful editions of ‘Kashmir World Film Festival’ (KWFF).

This time ACT is feeling proud in organizing screening of a Feature Film FOOTPRINTS (A film by JAVID BANDAY).

FOOTPRINTS is an emotional journey of a restless mother, a heart broken tribal girl, a tale of a missing soul and a bunch of college friends, who land in Kashmir but somehow the charming expedition turns to be an odious one.
