J&K Reports 19 Fresh Covid-19 Cases, Zero Death

Srinagar, June 20: Jammu and Kashmir’s Covid-19 tally went up to 454520 after 19 more people tested positive for the virus, while the death toll remained unchanged at 4752, officials said on Monday.

They said that seven cases were reported Kupwara, five each from Jammu and Srinagar, and one each from Udhampur and Samba districts respectively. Among the total cases, 166654 are from Jammu division and 287866 in Kashmir.

There was also no death due to the pathogen reported in the last 24 hours, they said. So far 4752 persons have succumbed to the virus—2328 in Jammu and 2424 in Kashmir.

Besides, they said, twelve Covid-19 patients recovered during the last 24 hours—eight from Jammu division and four from Kashmir Valley. So far 449598 people have recovered, leaving the active case tally at 169— 107 in Jammu and 62 in Kashmir.

The officials said there was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today. So far 51 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said. They also informed that 4797 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the time in J&K.
