Jammu: Ahead of Eid people are facing difficulties in using the Jammu and Kashmir Bank app and complaints of ATM machines crashing are adding to woes.

In Mendhar people are facing difficulties in accessing their money as ATM machines are out of service and a lone machine is operational.

Large number of people are queuing up for the machine, complaining that the Bank officials are playing cruel joke at this holy time.

At another place, an ATM is out of work since morning and no official had visited the area to fix it.

“Since morning the machine is down and none bothered to fix it. It’s so frustrating that either their app is not working properly or the ATMs are down,” people at the spot told INS.

ATM zonal head Shabbir Ahmed told INS that all the machines are working and the complaints will be redressed.

“The non functional machines will be working in few minutes as people have been sent to fix it,” he said, while denying that their is any malfunctioning at large scale.

Same complaints have been in Srinagar where large queues of people could be seen at ATMs. Some complained that their is some limit that bank has imposed at this time of Eid.

The app, according to many, is not properly working and transfer of money is taking much time creating problems.

“I have been trying to access the app but every time either time lapses or it says it is a technical error,” complainants said.
